The Rapacc system was a star system located in the Unknown Regions that contained the planet Rapacc, homeworld of the Paccosh.[3]
The Rapacc system was a box system, meaning it had unusually strong electromagnetic fluxes which caused even more hazards to vessels entering or exiting hyperspace than elsewhere in The Chaos. In addition, a cataclysm occurred millennia before the Chiss' first visit to the system that seeded much of the system with meteors, making in-system navigation hazardous.[3]
