"Greetings from the Pirate King of Sector Nine! Come out or we'll burn the place down!"
―The Pirate King of Sector Nine[2]

The Pirate King of Sector Nine was a pirate who visited the Outer Rim planet Ah Re Won in search of their son, Prince Afolonkin, who was hunting the carnivorous creatures, karafankata,[2] between around 40 BBY and 32 BBY.[1] When the Pirate King arrived at the settlement, blasting the hotel with a tank to gain attention, they were informed by two security droids that their son and his hunting party appeared to have been eaten by the karafankata at the nearby Sith temple ruins. The news infuriated the man, and they shot both droids and one of their own pirates with a blaster pistol. Thirsty for vengeance, the Pirate King noticed a nearby innkeeper and attempted to kill her as well. She managed to escape to her starship. When the Pirate King ordered their tank to fire at her ship, they instead found Sith apprentice Darth Maul standing over the corpse of the tank's operator. The Sith had been annoyed by the clamor. The Pirate King ordered their men to charge at the Zabrak, but Maul easily defeated them all before chucking the tank into the pirate's ship, killing the Pirate King of Sector Nine.[2]
