A Pirate King,[4] or pirate king,[1] was a term given to some pirate leaders with enough influence. During the Clone Wars, Weequay pirate Hondo Ohnaka was referred to as a pirate king.[1][2] Gorian Shard was also recognized as a pirate king among the Nevarro, including by High Magistrate Greef Karga, who despite taking out his henchmen still respected his power.[3]
