"What's going on? Where's Lando?"

―Kay Vess to the rebel[1]

Biography

The human joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic and was assigned to Typhoon Squadron[1] by 3 ABY.[2] While they were with Typhoon Squadron, they were at a camp in the jungles of Akiva when it was attacked by the Galactic Empire[1] in 3 ABY.[2] The attack began when several Viper probe droids emerged from the jungle as the Empire began landing stormtroopers using a Lambda-class T-4a shuttle. As the droids were destroyed, Kay Vess a thief hired by Lando Calrissian to deliver a disguised datacard containing intel from a contact with the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate arrived at the camp. Vess proceeded to ask the rebel where she could find Calrissian. They responded by telling her that Calrissian was in the brush nearby and asking Vess if she could shoot before telling her that they needed to fight off the Empire until Calrissian arrived with reinforcements. After Calrissian arrived and the rebels successfully repelled the attack, the rebel informed Calrissian that the shuttle was ready to leave. Calrissian completed the exchange with Vess and the rebel along with the remaning members of Typhoon Squadron evacuated the camp.[1]
