- "Can of Premium Deluxe D90 Droid Oil. Make it fast, kid."
- ―Jooks, to Kazuda Xiono
Premium Deluxe D90 Droid Oil was a type of oil.[1] The packaging for the oil was green and featured a white triangle with a gold border on the front. Inside the triangle was a golden astromech droid in a drop of oil.[2] The Office of Acquisitions shop aboard the refueling station Colossus kept the oil in stock in crates featuring the product's logo.[1] The oil was also stocked in Jarek Yeager's garage.[3]
In 34 ABY,[4] the Theelin Jooks ordered some of the oil from Acquisitions. Kazuda Xiono—who was covering at the shop for Flix and Orka—accepted their credit chips but struggled to locate the oil. The astromech BB-8 emerged with the oil, which Xiono took and presented to the customer. Jooks accepted the oil and departed Acquisitions. When Teroj Kee, who was working for the First Order, later broke into Acquisitions to steal a phase connector, BB-8 attempted to thwart his actions by tossing several cans of the droid oil at him.[1]
Behind the scenes

Premium Deluxe D90 Droid Oil appeared in "Dangerous Business,"[1] the thirteenth episode of the first season[6] of the Star Wars Resistance animated television series, which premiered on January 20, 2019.[7] The model for the oil was sourced from the hyperfuel container from an earlier episode,[2] "Fuel for the Fire,"[8] the fourth episode of the first season, which airred on October 18. 2018.[7] Its concept art was created by Lucasfilm Animation artist Colas Gauthier on June 23, 2017.[2]

The droid oil appeared as "Premium Deluxe D90 oil" in "The Bounty Hunters,"[9] a non-canon short film produced by WIT Studio and released as part of the third volume of the Star Wars: Visions series[10] on October 29, 2025.[11] In the short, the businessman Jin-Sim Canbelon requested a droid to fetch tea for the bounty hunter Sevn and the assassin/medical droid IV-A4 while discussing an employment opportunity for the two. Eventually, an enslaved Twi'lek child named Karin returned with Premium Deluxe D90 oil for IV-A4 and tea for Sven. Upon seeing the oil, IV-A4 concluded that Canbelon knew a lot about droids. Canbelon stressed the importance of droids for his company. In "The Bounty Hunters," the oil was contained in a gray canister with Aurebesh written inside a white rectangle with a red border. "Premium" was written in brown, "DX90" scribed in gold, and "Oil" written in red.[9]
