- "Deep-fried nuna legs. Mmm, delicious."
- ―Orn Free Taa
Nuna drumsticks, also known as deep-fried nuna legs, were a type of food made from nuna meat.
Description
Nuna drumsticks, also known as deep-fried nuna legs, were a meat dish made from the legs of the nuna. Humans, Latero,[1] and Twi'leks could consume the dish.[2]
History
- "Gonna have to throw together some food when we get to Tanalorr, Cal. You know, to celebrate."
"Sounds like a great idea. You have anything in mind?"
"Oh, you name it: Colo claw roe, deep-fried nuna legs, ormacheck."
"You really think you can find all that?"
"Sure!" - ―Greez Dritus and Cal Kestis
In 9 BBY,[3] the Latero Greez Dritus suggested to the human Jedi Knight Cal Kestis that he would have to cook food in celebration once they reached the planet Tanalorr. When Kestis questioned what Dritus had in mind, deep-fried nuna legs was one of the first dishes he listed, alongside Colo claw roe and ormachek. The Jedi questioned if the Latero would be able to find all those dishes, but Dritus assured him that he could.[1]
Around 9 ABY,[4] Hunters of the Outer Rim competitors Aran Tal and Imara Vex got into a brawl in the chow room of the Grand Arena after Tal took the last serving of deep-fried nuna legs. That act was the spark that ignited each other's fury after tensions rose between the competitors.[5] Deep-fried nuna legs were sold elsewhere in the Arena District of the planet Vespaara at the podracing arena's concession stands.[6]
Behind the scenes
- "At this point it would've been quicker to fly to Naboo and cook my own Nuna drumstick!"
- ―A Duros patron of Dex's Diner
In the non-canon video game LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, nuna drumsticks were also served at Dex's Diner.[7]
