During the Galactic Civil War, a mining asteroid in the Far Xandil sector was converted into a pirate clearinghouse, a gathering spot for pirates to trade stolen goods and sell captured crews into slavery. Originally commanded by the Zygerrian Ingan dire Stane, the clearinghouse fell under the command of the former Lorrdian slave Aral tukor Viest after she had killed Stane.
