Fabrin was a terrestrial astronomical object[2] located in the Expansion Region's Circarpous sector, within the Fabrin system. It was situated in grid square O-12 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] Fabrin was the headquarters of the company Fabritech, a leading manufacturer of sensor and communications devices.[2] By 34 ABY, Fabrin was defended by the Resistance's Cobalt Squadron.[3]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Fabrin was first mentioned in the seventy-second issue of De Agostini's Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine series,[2] published around May 18, 2016.[4] The planet[5] Fabrin originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in W. Haden Blackman's 2004 reference book, The New Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology.[6]
