Esstran sector

The Esstran sector was located in the Outer Rim Territories of the galaxy. The sector contained the planet Moraband^[1] and the Thurra system which contained the planet Thule.^[3] The Sith Worlds was a subregion of the sector.

Behind the scenes

The Esstran sector first canonically appeared in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode "Sacrifice,"^[4] which was released on Netflix on March 7, 2014, as part of the show's sixth season,^[5] of which it is the thirteenth and final episode.^[6] The sector was first identified in the 2017 reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, written by Daniel Wallace.^[7]

In the Legends continuity, the Esstran sector first appeared in The Empire Strikes Back Monthly 149,^[8] and was first identified in the Star Wars: The Essential Atlas Online Companion, published on StarWars.com.^[9]
