Edusa system

The Edusa system was located in the Morshdine sector^[3] of the Outer Rim Territories^[1] and the New Territories.^[2] Situated in grid square O-5 of the Standard Galactic Grid, it was linked by a hyperspace route to the Tangrene, Vandyne,^[1] and Thabeska systems.^[4]

Behind the scenes

The Edusa system was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Roleplaying boxed set.^[1] It was then identified by name in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com^[3] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.^[5]

The Edusa system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.^[6] The Clone Wars: Act on Instinct, a webcomic authored by Pablo Hidalgo and released on StarWars.com^[7] over the span of the 2009^[8]–2010^[9] second season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series,^[8] featured the first appearance of the Edusa system.^[7]
