"Duloks and Ewoks are natural enemies, I suppose that's what comes of fighting over the same resources when you're bound to a planet."
―Imara Vex[2]

Duloks were an aggressive sentient species native to the forest moon of Endor, where they lived in swamps.

Duloks were a swamp-based sentient species native to Endor, a forest moon in the Outer Rim Territories. They were an aggressive race[1] of gangly bipeds whose upper limbs ended in four-fingered hands. They sported long floppy ears and a mouth full of teeth, two of which were particularly large and fitted along the margin of the upper jaw when the mouth was closed.[3] They would emerge from the swamps to hunt lantern birds and the sentient Ewok species, with whom they shared the moon[1] and competed with over resources. The human Imara Vex once stated the relationship between the Ewoks and Duloks was that of "natural enemies" due to that competition.[2]

History

One faction of Duloks were the Children of Vulgarr, who were led by King Gorneesh. Also among their number was a religious leader. During the New Republic Era, Gorneesh and his followers attempted to usurp control of the Ewok Bright Tree Village, kicking off the Ewok Civil War.[4]
