"Droid Trouble" is a short story written by Chuck Sperati that was originally published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 3 by West End Games in August 1994 and was later archived online at Hyperspace on July 22, 2005.
Plot summary
An ambitious Bothan politician evades Imperial pursuit while trying to deliver an astromech droid loaded with sensitive Imperial military data to the Rebellion. His starship crashes into the deserts of Tatooine. Rather than help Tereb, the unscrupulous Nim Bola steals his droid and drops the Bothan into the Sarlacc pit.
