A video sensor was a type of sensor that was extendible and fully maneuverable. They could be used to inspect small and enclosed spaces. They were capable of conducting telescopic and microscopic scans. Industrial Automaton equipped their R2-series astromech droids and Hound-W2 SPDs with video sensors.[2] IN-4 information droids were equipped with video sensors.
