The Dresscol system was located in the Trax sector of the Mid Rim[1] and the Slice,[2] situated in grid square Q-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It was among the many places to which the Galactic Empire sent probe droids in search of the hidden base of the Alliance to Restore the Republic[3] in 3 ABY.[4]
Behind the scenes
Dresscol was introduced in the current Star Wars canon in The Odyssey of Star Wars: An Epic Poem, a 2021 adaptation of Star Wars' original trilogy.[3] It was then identified by name in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[5] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Dresscol system was first mentioned in the Star Wars Gamemaster Kit, a 1991 supplement for West End Games' Star Wars Roleplaying Game written by Bill Smith and Ed Stark.[6]
