Donovia was a rainy planet[3] located in the Donovia system of the Expansion Region's Hali sector[1] where mechanics known as Donovian rainmen maintained signal towers. During the Separatist Crisis, some rainmen who had left Donovia became freighter trampers and traveled on board the AA-9 Freighter-Liner Jendirian Valley as it carried refugees fleeing the crisis from the planet Coruscant to the planet Naboo[3] in 22 BBY.[4] The planet was situated in grid square O-9 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
