- "Welcome to the Devshi prison complex. I am your warden, Mattis Coto"
- ―Mattis Coto to new prisoners
The Devshi prison complex was a prison located on the ocean floor of the moon Devshi. The complex was run by warden Mattis Coto. As a matter of security, the prison was almost entirely staffed with droids.[1] By 48 BBY,[2] Coto had been selling skeleton keys to inmates as a way to buy himself out of his job. After one of these keys was used by an escapee in a prion break on Kevan 8, the Jedi Mace Windu infiltrated Devshi. After confronting Coto and battling some security droids, Windu left the prison through the emergency aqualock to the surface to follow multiple astromech droids who had received the master skeleton key from Coto, while he left him behind for the approaching authorities.[1]
