- "All of these droids were tasked to work the Devshi prison complex at the bottom of the ocean. Something, or someone, overrode their programming. And one of them is carrying a system-wide skeleton key, that they shouldn't be."
- ―Mace Windu
Jedi Master Mace Windu undertook a mission to the ocean moon Devshi[1] by 42 BBY[2] in which he pursued a group of rogue droids that had had their programming overidden while working at a prison complex. Windu successfully disabled the droids and recovered a system-wide skeleton key from them. The droids were the re-programmed and the key was stored in a vault.[1]

Marvel's Mace Windu #1 Showcases the Prequel Hero in an Early Adventure – Exclusive Preview on StarWars.com (backup link) establishes the events of Star Wars: Mace Windu takes place prior to Mace Windu's entry into the Jedi High Council, which is depicted in "Choices." As the episode occurs prior to Dooku's departure from the Jedi Order, which Star Wars: Timelines dates to 42 BBY, Star Wars: Mace Windu must take place by that year.
