The Dentari sector was located in the Trans-Hydian portion of the Expansion Region.[1] It contained the Borloria system,[3] which was home to the sentient species known as Borlorians,[4][5] and the Dentaria system,[3] the origin point of the beverage known as the Dentarian Ripple.[6][7]

By 0 ABY, the Dentari sector shared its spinward border with the Sumitra sector and its trailing border with the Farstey and Prackla sectors. Dentari also formed the Expansion Region's Rimward border with the Mid Rim's Venaarian sector as well as part of the Coreward border with the Inner Rim.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Dentari sector was introduced in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas.[3] In 2012, the sector was depicted on a map designed by Modi and published in the Online Companion feature "Essential Atlas Extra: Expansion Region," which placed it in grid squares O-7 and O-8.[2]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. This article treats the Borloria system as the location of one such homeworld with regard to the Borlorian species.
