- "They speak many dialects but rely upon a common language that evolved on [sic] Delphidian Cluster to allow for peaceful trade."
- ―An artist's journal entry on the Delphidians
The Delphidian Cluster was a stellar nursery located in the Mid Rim Territories near Wild Space.[1] It was situated in grid square I-15 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[2] The star cluster was home to the group of related species known as the Delphidians, who individually spoke a large number of dialects but also developed a common trade language,[1] Delphidian.[4]
Centuries before the Delphidian Cluster was discovered by the Galactic Republic, the Delphidians were a part of a brawling confederation.[1] The Delphidian pirate Sidon Ithano hailed from the cluster.[5] The Delphidian Cluster was eventually mentioned in an entry of an artist's journal dedicated to the Delphidians. The journal was eventually restored, expanded, and displayed at the Graf Archive[3] at some point no earlier than 34 ABY.[6]
Behind the scenes
The Delphidian Cluster was introduced in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Aliens of the Galaxy by Jason Fry.[1]
