- "Danzikans are a swamp-dwelling species, instantly recognizable by their two heads."
- ―An artist's journal entry on the Danzikans
Danzik was a terrestrial astronomical object[5] located in the Danzik system, a part of the Dalonbian sector[3] of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the New Territories.[2] It was situated in grid square M-3 of the Standard Galactic Grid, and the hyperspace route[1] known as the Veragi Trade Route[4] connected it to the Birgis and Sernpidal systems.[1] Danzik had swamps on its surface.[5]
Danzik was the homeworld of the two-headed sentient Danzikan species,[5] who spoke the Danzikan language.[6] It was eventually mentioned in an entry of an artist's journal dedicated to the Danzikans. The journal was eventually restored, expanded, and displayed at the Graf Archive[5] at some point no earlier than 34 ABY.[7]
Behind the scenes
Danzik was introduced in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Alien Archive by Natalie Clubb and Katrina Pallant.[5]
