Crul was a planet[4] located in the galaxy's Mid Rim that was covered in warm, shallow,[3] and salty[4] seas and lagoons.[3] It was the homeworld of two sentient species: the Crolutes, who were exclusively male, and the Gilliands, who were exclusively female.[4]
