"Zuckus suspects he knows why—we are here." - ―Bossk and Zuckuss, as they arrive at the Accertion Disco
The Crseih Black Hole was a black hole orbited by the space station Accretion Disco.[2] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[3] the Pyke Syndicate gangster Omel Sampak hired out the Accretion Disco to celebrate a victory over a rival. The gangster also hired the crew of the bounty hunter T'onga to keep the Pyke and his entourage alive as they celebrated. As the crew neared the Accertion Disco, the Trandoshan Bossk felt the effects of the Crseih Black Hole on his stomach.[2] After Tasu Leech killed Sampak, the Pykes attempted to kill the crew, and after realizing they were outnumbered and would need an alternative to fighting their way off the station, the LOM-series protocol droid 4-LOM destroyed the console which controlled the Accretion Disco's thrusters, sending the station into the event horizon of the Crseih Black Hole.[4]
Behind the scenes
Crseih Black Hole first appeared in the new Star Wars canon in Bounty Hunters 27, a comic written by Ethan Sacks, illustrated by Paolo Villanelli, and published by Marvel Comics[2] on September 14, 2022.[5] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Crseih black hole was introduced in The Crystal Star, a 1994 novel authored by Vonda N. McIntyre.[6]
