- "Engines are fried. We won't be going much farther. Find me a moon!"
- ―Luke Skywalker
Corosi 7 was a terrestrial moon with a rocky surface.[3] It was located in the Outer Rim Territories and the New Territories' Corosi sector, within the Corosi system. Corosi 7 was situated in grid square N-6 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
In 1 ABY,[4] Rebel Alliance heroes Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa and Han Solo escaped the Galactic Empire's attack on their base at the Mako-Ta Space Docks in a Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier, landing the ship on Corosi 7, where they received a transmission from Chancellor Mon Mothma. As the carrier was severely damaged, Solo took them to[3] the moon[5] Nar Shaddaa, so that he could ask fellow smuggler Sana Starros to transport them in her ship, the Volt Cobra.[3]
Behind the scenes
Corosi 7 appeared in the fifty-fifth issue of the 2015 Star Wars comic-book series, which was written by Kieron Gillen, illustrated by Salvador Larroca, and published by Marvel Comics[3] on October 3, 2018.[6]
