Cobarb was one of the 1,000 moons that orbited the planet Iego,[1] which was located at Standard Galactic Grid coordinates T-7[4] in the Outer Rim Territories. Like all of the Iego's moons, Cobarb was as mysterious as the world itself, but unlike several of the other moons, which were spherical in shape, Cobarb had a uneven and irregular shape with an uneven brown surface.[1]
Behind the scenes
Cobarb was mentioned in the 2017 reference book Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia. The art used for the moon in the Visual Encyclopedia[1] originated in a piece of concept art title "Iego 1000 Moons" that was drawn by Jackson Sze on October 3, 2007 for Mystery of a Thousand Moons, an episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.[5] The moon did not appear in the episode itself.[6]
