Balith was a planet[3] in the Balith system of the Inner Rim Territories[1] where a civil war took place during the Clone Wars. Upon the request of its people, the Jedi Order's High Council sent Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and Clone Captain CT-7567, "Rex", to command the Third Legion and assist them.[2]

Behind the scenes

Balith was first mentioned in "Assassin," an episode of the third season of the canon Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series.
