The Bakisian Drift was an electrical anomaly[2] located in the Tragan Cluster in the Outer Rim Territories.[1] During the Imperial Era, a convoy owned by Twin Suns Transport Services lost a GR-75 medium transport while traversing the drift. Word then got out about the lost craft and the lucrative cargo available to anyone that could navigate the Drift, attracting hostile scavengers.[2]
Behind the scenes
In Star Wars canon, the Bakisian Drift was first mentioned in an adventure hook in the 2020 Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars Roleplaying supplement Starships and Speeders.[2] The Drift originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in Galaxy Guide 12: Aliens — Enemies and Allies, a 1995 supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game released by West End Games.[3]
