The Bakisian Drift was a nebulosity[3] located in the Tragan Cluster,[1] a part of the New Territories portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] The notoriously perilous Bakisian Drift prevented the exploration of the Tragan Cluster up until approximately three standard centuries before the Galactic Civil War, when a group of Shistavanen scouts charted the sector, discovering several new sentient species in the Cluster's star systems.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Bakisian Drift was created by Craig Robert Carey and introduced in Galaxy Guide 12: Aliens — Enemies and Allies, a 1995 sourcebook for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed it in in grid square N-5.[2]
