The Artom system was a star system located in the Nuon e Safyd sector of the Expansion Region[1] and the Slice.[2] It was located in grid square P-12 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Artom system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[3] The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned as the Reidi Artom I system in the Living Force Campaign Guide, a 2001 Star Wars Roleplaying Game supplement written by Robert Wiese and Andy Collins and published by Wizards of the Coast.[4] It was then identified as the Artom system in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Daniel Wallace and Fry.[5]
