The Ansata system was located in the Core Worlds in grid square M-11 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It was the origin point of[2] Ansata patterns and Ansata hair sticks.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Ansata system was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[4] The system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity via a mention in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.[5]
