The Annoo system was a star system in the Tharin sector of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Slice[2] in Standard Galactic Grid square S-8.[1] It was connected by a hyperspace route to the Boonta system and[3] the Junkfort Station system.[4]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Annoo system was mentioned as just "Annoo" on a map of the galaxy[3] designed by Christopher Ibbitt[5] and written by Jason Fry[6] in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations, New Edition.[3] The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in "Escape Into Terror,"[7] the second episode of the animated series Star Wars: Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO, which aired on September 14, 1985.[8] It was then identified as the Annoo system in the similarly titled article "Star Wars Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO," which was written by Rich Handley and Abel G. Peña and published in the 170th issue of the magazine Polyhedron in July 2004.[9]
