Ankot Station

Ankot Station was a space station[1] located in the Brema sector of the Outer Rim Territories,[2] near the edge of the Mid Rim Territories. The station was under the control of Galactic Empire during its reign, becoming a highly trafficked base. After the Battle of Jakku, the station was controlled by various spicerunner gangs before the New Republic formally took it over. However, the New Republic's control was in name only, and Ankot Station was abandoned.[1]

It had a viewing platform, which in earlier days was likely a popular leisure destination, judging by the stores and vending machines all around it.[1]

Zorii Bliss, Poe Dameron, and the droid EV-6B6, members of the Spice Runners of Kijimi, visited the station to make a deal with the smuggler Alfris Sotin. However, Sotin betrayed the Spice Runners to the Guavian Death Gang, leading to a skirmish in which Bliss and Dameron escaped.[1]
