The skirmish at Ankot Station took place when the smuggler Alfris Sotin proposed a deal to the Spice Runners of Kijimi, proceeding to then betray them to the Guavian Death Gang. A cell of the Spice Runners led by Tomasso sent Zorii Bliss and Poe Dameron to Ankot Station to meet Sotin, finding themselves under attack by Guavian soldiers. Bliss and Dameron managed to escape, also freeing several slaves Sotin had aboard his freighter, the Vondel.^[1]

↑ Poe Dameron: Free Fall states that the skirmish at Ankot Station took place several months after Poe Dameron joined the Spice Runners of Kijimi. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary establishes that Dameron joined the Spice Runners sixteen years before the Starkiller Incident, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 34 ABY. Dameron must have therefore joined the Spice Runners in 18 ABY, and the skirmish must have occurred around that year.
