"And here's a Fizzroot Shake for Nash, two Alphaberry Sap-Shakes for Kai and Lys, and the daily special for Nubs."
―Hap serves up some drinks[1]

Alphaberry Sap-Shakes were a green[1] sap-shake[2] beverage with a multicolored garnish on top. Potable to humans, Pantorans,[1] and Mon Calamari,[3] the eatery Hap's Sap Tap on[1] the planet[4] Tenoo served them.[1] Around 233 BBY,[5] Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar and Lys Solay ordered Alphaberry Sap-Shakes, which Hap, the owner, served to them. After sipping his drink, Brightstar described it as "amazing," a compliment that Hap appreciated.[1]

Around the same year,[5] the beverages were served by vendors providing refreshments for the concert of the Ku-Bops band in Tenoo's Kublop Springs.[6] Later, in 232 BBY,[7] one of the shakes was served in Hap's Sap Tap during a performance of the band Feb Rozo and the Sap Tap Trio.[2] Another time on Tenoo, a Mon Calamari youngling enjoyed an Alphaberry Sap-Shake while sitting on[3] her[8] speeder.[3]

Behind the scenes

Alphaberry Sap-Shakes first appeared in "The Junk Giant," the second part of the third episode of the animated series Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures's first season.[1] The episode was released on May 4, 2023.[9]

  5. 5.0 5.1 The second season of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures spans the dedication of the Starlight Beacon (which appears in the season one finale "The Prince and the Pirate") and the mission to Vrant Tarnum (which appears in "Yoda Rescue"), both of which are dated to 232 BBY by Star Wars: Timelines. The Season Two episodes "The Great Gomgourd Quest" and "The Missing Life Day Feast" take place one year after the Season One episodes "The Harvest Feast" and "Life Day," placing those episodes in 233 BBY. Season One begins around the same year, meaning that Young Jedi Adventures Season One spans c. 233 BBY through 232 BBY.
