Agaric ale was a type of ale that could be consumed by Neimoidians and found on the Colonies planet Cato Neimoidia. During her duties following the Cadesura disaster[1] of 22 BBY,[2] Neimoidian Royal Guard Ruug Quarnom instructed her stressed partner Ketar Nor to go home and relax, potentially to enjoy an agaric ale.[1]

In the current Star Wars canon, agaric ale was mentioned in the 2022 novel Brotherhood, written by Mike Chen.[1] While drafting Brotherhood, Chen included the ale after researching already-established lore about Neimoidian culture on the free-to-edit, unofficial online Star Wars encyclopedia known as Wookieepedia.[3] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the drink first appeared in the 2001 novel Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter by Michael Reaves.[4]
