An ale, also referred to as beer, was any type of alcoholic beverage brewed from grains.[5] There were a number of different types of ale including Trandoshan ale.[1] During the rebellion against the Galactic Empire, Mon Mothma drank ale with Chief of Rebel Intelligence Airen Cracken while discussing the scope of the Tarkin Initiative.[2] Following the Battle of Endor, the cantina Alcazar on the planet Akiva served at least four types of ale along with grog and starfire 'skee according to the bartender.[6]
