The Zugga Challenge was a podracing course located on[1] the Mid Rim[2] planet[3] Mon Gazza.[1] Between 4 ABY and 34 ABY,[4] the Spice Runners of Kijimi carried out a heist on Mon Gazza, during which they were forced to outrun a New Republic patrol through the old Zugga Challenge course. The course shared its name[1] with Zugga Entertainment, a company involved in podracing.[5]
Behind the scenes
The Zugga Challenge was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon 2019 reference book Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1] The Zugga Challenge was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity in Star Wars: Episode I Racer, a 1999 LucasArts video game.[6]
