Yipsit was a Shahkirin mechanic. Born on the planet Bestine IV, Yipsit eventually came to serve the Resistance during the First Order-Resistance War. At the Resistance base on Ajan Kloss, Yipsit helped to refurbish the Tantive IV.[1]
Behind the scenes
Yipsit was created for the 2019 sequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, portrayed by Kiran Shah.[2] He was first identified in the accompanying reference book Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
