The Yethra system was located in the Outer Rim Territories' Bon'nyuw-Luq sector at the coordinates N-17 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It had a sun as well as the icy astronomical object Yethra. The TIE fighter pilot Yrica Quell flew above the surface of Yethra while serving in the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing, joined by fellow pilots Xion and Major Soran Keize. After Quell became temporarily blinded by the reflection of Yethra's sun from the ice sheets, Xion guided the visually impaired pilot, warning her of enemies attempting to pursue.[2]

The Yethra system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published on StarWars.com alongside the article Star Wars Galaxy Map."[1] Both works were authored by Jason Fry and released on June 24, 2025.[3]
