Yethra was a terrestrial astronomical object[2] located in the Bon'nyuw-Luq sector's Yethra system within the Outer Rim Territories. Situated at the coordinates N-17 on the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] it had one sun and a terrain that consisted of ice sheets. While serving in the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing, TIE fighter pilot Yrica Quell flew above the surface of Yethra with fellow pilots Xion and Major Soran Keize. During the mission, Xion guided Quell, warning her of enemies attempting to pursue, after the latter pilot had become temporarily blinded by the reflection of Yethra's sun from the ice sheets.[2] In 5 ABY,[3] Quell, who had since defected to the New Republic, was fighting in the planet Troithe's capital district when she began reliving her experience at Yethra in her mind.[2]
Behind the scenes
Yethra appeared through flashbacks in the 2020 novel Shadow Fall, the second installment of the Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy, which was written by Alexander Freed.[2]
