The Yalara system was located in Wild Space in grid square I-21 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Yalara system was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[2] The system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity via an appearance of its planet Yalara in the 2003 video game Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.[3] The system was subsequently identified by name in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.[4]
