A woman was the grandmother of the human E'roni Princess Xiri A'lbaran of the Outer Rim planet E'ronoh and a member of the world's royal family.[1] At some point by 382 BBY,[2] they told A'lbraran a story that billions of years prior, E'ronoh and its twin planet Eiram were cosmic beings that emerged from stardust—and that their moon, Eirie, was the two's shared heart, being vital to E'ronoh's winds and Eiram's tides. While flying on a mission[1] that year,[2] the princess thought about her grandmother's story, reflecting that she used to love how the tale bound the two worlds together irrevocably.[1]
Behind the scenes
Xiri A'lbaran's grandmother was mentioned in Convergence, a novel written by Zoraida Córdova as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase II[1] that was published on November 22, 2022. Prior to its release, the grandmother's mention was included in a StarWars.com preview for the novel on October 4 of that year.[3]
