In 382 BBY,^[2] a skirmish occurred in the Eiram system between forces of the warring planets Eiram and E'ronoh, as well as members of the Jedi Order accompanying a Galactic Republic relief shipment to Eiram. The incident was sparked by a sabotage attempt carried out by members of the Path of the Open Hand cult against a starfighter they believed would be flown by E'roni princess Xiri A'lbaran during a routine mission to escort an ice hauler due to make a delivery to E'ronoh. However, A'lbaran had reassigned the Corellian devilfighter to Bly Tevin, a new recruit in E'ronoh's fleet, leading to his death after an attempt to stop the sabotaged ship from attacking. Jedi Knight Gella Nattai, who had arrived aboard the Alif-class Longbeam as one of several Jedi on a mission to deliver requested food to Eiram, intervened in the skirmish aboard her Alpha-class starfighter.^[1]
