Xibariz was a planet[1] located in the Xibariz system[3] of the Inner Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] It was situated in grid square O-9 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[3] At some point, the author and historian Eloc Throno wrote the book The Traveler's Guide to Xibariz, subtitled "A Journey Through Perpetual Twilight," as a guide for visitors to the planet. The position of Xibariz was also noted on a galactic map included in Traveler's Guide to Batuu, a similar book by Throno detailing the planet Batuu[1] that was published in 34 ABY.[4]
Behind the scenes
Xibariz was first mentioned in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu, a 2020 reference book written by Cole Horton.[1]

- ↑ Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu establishes that at the time of the book's setting the Resistance was based on Batuu. Star Wars: Timelines dates both the establishment of the Batuu Resistance base and its eventual relocation to Ajan Kloss to 34 ABY. Therefore, the in-universe guide must have been authored that year.
