- "So, where do you want to go after we drop her off? Wor Tandell's nice. Or there are some casino worlds I think you'd love."
- ―Kanan Jarrus to Hera Syndulla, regarding potential travels after dropping off Zaluna Myder
Wor Tandell was a location in the galaxy that traded with the Galactic Empire. During the Gorse Conflict, while attempting to persuade Hera Syndulla to leave Gorse with him, Kanan Jarrus offered to take her there, saying it was nice. Imperial Captain Rae Sloane later imagined that Count Denetrius Vidian's cyborg staff on Calcoraan Depot, among other things, managed trading with Wor Tandell.[2]
Behind the scenes
Wor Tandell was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the 2014 novel A New Dawn, written by John Jackson Miller.[2] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet Wor Tandell was first mentioned in the 1989 Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game sourcebook Galaxy Guide 3: The Empire Strikes Back, written by Michael Stern,[3] and first appeared in the 1998 LucasArts strategy video game Star Wars: Rebellion.[4]
