The Woostri sector was a sector of the Expansion Region that contained the Corlus, Daemen, and Woostri systems, all in grid square M-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The Woostri system was part of the Rimma Trade Route[2] which connected it to the Vondarc system and the Vandelhelm system.[3] The Corlus system contained Corlus, an astronomical object where a group of the partisans loyal to resistance fighter Saw Gerrera were based during the Imperial Era.[4]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Woostri sector was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[5] The sector originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in The Last Command, the third novel in Timothy Zahn's Thrawn Trilogy, which released in 1993.[6] It was then depicted for the first time in The Last Command Sourcebook, a 1994 supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game published by West End Games.[7] The sector was then identified for the first time in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[8] The Woostri sector was depicted on a map designed by Modi and published in the 2012 StarWars.com article Essential Atlas Extra: Expansion Region.[9]
