  • If the current track keeps up, Lt.NOWIS will have earned a WOTM and won an RFA in the same month! Quite an accomplishment. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Audience Chamber) 16:52, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Barely over 1000 article edits... maybe some day, but for now there are others who are more deserving. --Imp 12:17, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Jabba has made some great contributions, but I do not think he is ready for WOTM yet. Also, he needs to work on his grammar and spelling before he receives this award; he creates a lot of copyediting work for the rest of us. Not that that alone is an unforgiveable sin... Give him a few more months on the Wookiee, I say. - breathesgelatinTalk 19:43, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Per Breathesgelatin, except that you spelled Wookiee wrong! An unforgiveable sin if I ever saw one. :P Cull Tremayne 20:10, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Not everyone has to have a thousand edits to be a WotM. Brain40 (Sarlacc victim chat) 15:42, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Once again tough competition, I can't decide. Jaina Solo(Goddess Stuff) 19:44, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
    • No they don't but the fact remains, as good as the work he has done has been even with the grammer issue, there are more deserving users for WotM. And i belive this isn't the first time its been said. Jedi Dude 19:48, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
      • Not condemning you, Jabba, but I noticed that your edits don't tend to have categories or have some grammar errors. Try to improve on these mistakes and maybe you might be nominated again in six months time or a year. MyNz 22:10, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
        • Heck, if he can consistently correct those two mistakes, he can probably be nominated again in two or three months. He's been a prolific contributor in his short time here; if he can overcome his technical shortcomings, he'll go far. jSarek 12:01, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Brain40 is a real nice guy trying to help people and preserve moral values. He is a person trying to make this wiki better.BobafettH23 13:18, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

  • As much as I agree with BobafettH23, the WOTM award is not "for being a nice guy." I'm not going to officially object, but I would like to point out a few things: 1) He needs to work on syntax. His writing tends to be fragmented and doesn't read well. 2) Occasionally, I've seen examples of original research from him. 3) Yes, he has <1000 edits, but about 100-200 of them are on his user page. Pardons if that's considered nitpicky around here.
Of course, none of these things are serious and I'm sure he will improve in time. But for now, I'd say he's a little too inexperienced and hasn't had enough time to really demonstrate his zeal (which is considerable) for the wiki yet. Brain40, someday you will be ready for this award. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Audience Chamber) 14:10, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Actually Ataru, I agree with you, when it comes right down to it, there are many other deserving users here that are a lot better than I am, and, in response to the 1000e template, that doesn't fully mean I have 1000 edits, I just want it there for when I do, thanks for the friendly advice, and thank you BobafettH23, but the WotM award will just have to wait for me. Brain40 (Sarlacc victim chat) 10:25, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Well, as far as I know, any edit is still considered an "edit" on edit-count, but on the offical Wikia statistics, they rank the 50 highest users only by article edits. I'm not sure if I have 1000 "real" edits- G.He knows how to link people with their statistics. Keep up the good work. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Audience Chamber) 14:30, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
