Sentry, what's going on? -- Riffsyphon1024 03:48, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Hi Sentry, I just want to thank you for fixing my profile and for your support about the Wookieepedians by article philosophy.--Zeist Antilles 22:45, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hey man, I'm really sorry to see you go. You'll certainly be missed. It seems I almost always found myself voting on things the same side as you. Your work here will always be greatly appreciated. Best wishes in whatever you do. Peace. -- Ozzel 06:21, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Nooooo! You'll be missed dude. (Ulicus 23:23, 8 February 2007 (UTC))
- Thanks for your efforts here Sentry. Best of luck to you. :) -Fnlayson 03:53, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- Let me echo that also. You were a great help to me when I first started here, and your insane talents with wikicode and personality will be missed. Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 04:36, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, I just found out now that you've left. I tend to agree with you on some of your arguments against the wiki-format (having originally left Wikipedia for the same reasons). Anyway, thanks for your efforts here. They're greatly appreciated. Good luck. KEJ 21:15, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- I'll miss you. I never really knew you, but your signature's prominence on discussion pages inspired me to be more involved. -Milo Fett[Comlink] 00:39, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hello sentry, I am really pleased you are back. It to saddened me to hear the news that you had left. I totally understand the motivational feelings you had. I to am sorry to say that those types of feelings are a day to day occurrence with me to, not necessarily with Wookiee but most other things. Anyway good to see you are back :-) Joker1138(Mandalore) 25px
- "...every minor discussion is in danger of being hijacked by clever and/or ambitious users who know that they may be able to sway the absurdly flawed postmodern process known as 'consensus' in their favor if they shout loud enough. As such, many disagreements degenerate into a ridiculous street theater in which all concerned parties expend their energy in an effort to sway voters to their way of thinking through sheer force of personality. After a while, the system becomes incredibly tiresome."
...Sounds suspiciously like the modern political process in the USA! :) Gonk 18:25, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- Understanding your reasons for leaving now makes sense. Good luck in the real world Sentry and perhaps your determination and passion can go into more productive means. :) -- Riffsyphon1024 05:04, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

- I appreciate the solidarity, but I didn't really interpret his post as a threat, just vehement opposition to my point of view, which is at least understandable. While you and I seem to be on the same page with this whole Inquisitorius thing, I have to admit that I doubt he'd have to do much vote farming to defeat anything I might propose. My stance at this point is that if users here want this so badly, they deserve it. Hopefully they'll come to their senses eventually, but I have no desire to be a martyr to principle over the matter. - No hard feelings at all, Sentry. I understand about the RL pressure and all that, and I know that I personally have also been a candidate for the "open mouth insert foot" award at times. I'm still sorry to see you go. Cheers. Atarumaster88 22:25, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

Redlink fix
- Hey, what should I shift the Category:VFD over to for the new Trash Compactor setup? I have a redlink I'd like to fix. Thanks. Atarumaster88 20:09, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
- Hmmm... nothing seems to be linking to Special:Whatlinkshere/Category:VFD, but if I were you, I would change it to Category:TC or something like that.–SentryTalk 20:17, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
- The actual link was Category:Votes for deletion, but I think that Trash Compactor is what I'm looking for. Thanks. Atarumaster88 20:29, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

De-sysop
Hello Sentry, as you requested on IRC I've removed the sysop flag from your account. I've also read your notes about the reasons that led to this decision now – kind of sad, but understandable and very differentiated on the other hand. Anyway, many thanks for all the good things you've done here! I really wish you all the best, and more pleasure again when you drop in now and then :-) --rieke 22:18, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'm going to go ahead and unprotect your page also, if that's okay with you. It'll be easier for you to edit it that way, should you choose to do so. Cheers, and best wishes. Atarumaster88 04:19, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
Welcome back
Hey Sentry, I just wanted to say welcome back. Have a good one, Cheers. Greyman(Paratus) 00:34, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks =) –SentryTalk 01:40, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
- I, too, just wanted to say hey. It's good to have you back Sentry. Chack Jadson 01:13, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
Revan's amnesia
Hey, Sentry. I wanted to run something by you and see what you think. You know when the K.O.T.O.R. game says that Revan's mind was destroyed? That probably was his mind as in his "identity", not his memories. Obviously, his memories weren't destroyed, but as far as his identity, the Jedi Council couldn't repair Revan's identity. What do you think? Visit my talk page and let me know, please. Also, is the Circlet of Saresh included in the downloadable content in the K.O.T.O.R. version of X-boX? Because I really don't want to use my P.C. for the game, {I cannot get used to the controls!} so I just wanted to know. Thanks!--Jedi Kasra 10:08, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

- O.K. Thanks, Sentry. If I'm doing any fanwanking please let me know.--Jedi Kasra 04:19, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Infoboxes
Ok, I'll stop putting these informations into the infoboxes. But I wouldn't call them "detailed description". It's just an information about WHO killed this character. And people will read the article to learn HOW the character was killed.—Unsigned comment by 77.236.0.195 (talk • contribs)
'Butchering' Mandalorian wars
Sorry for that. However I gave an explanation why i butchered your hard work. However hard work has nothing to do with relevancy in Wookieepedia (those adding fanon have also done hard work adding fanon before we revert). After all you can always move your work to more relevant articles, which I did before removing those sentences. I still consider that the sentences I removed did not harm your section. The explanation was and is that the 'context' is too long to exist as it is in the main article and the previous Mandalore and the war of Dxun are not relative at all; or else we should put a perilepsis of the Clone Wars in the Galactic Civil War article... Sorry again. MoffRebus 12:47, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
Article Request
Hey, Sentry. I was wondering, do you know how to create an article? If so, could you create one on the visions in Ludo Kressh's tomb to the Jedi Exile? I feel that there is enough stuff about it to make one. Tell me what you think.--Jedi Kasra 09:20, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, this is something of a necropost, but I might as well respond now. If I were you, I would just add the relevant info to the Jedi Exile and Ludo Kressh's tomb articles.–SentryTalk 01:00, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
Links within References
Hey Sentry, upon seeing your recent edit to the Mandalorian Wars article, I thought you might be interested in seeing this → Forum:Links within references. Cheers, Greyman(Paratus) 00:22, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- Oops, looks like I am a tad behind when it comes to policy. Whatever, since the CT is not closed yet, I won't bother to revert myself yet. Thanks for the heads-up! =) –SentryTalk 00:30, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I was hoping you would vote! :P lol, I am actually of the same mind as you since I view that linking the ref's is redundant at best. Greyman(Paratus) 00:35, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- I would gladly support you on this issue, but I am afraid that I just can't go there. When I resigned as an admin, I promised myself that I would never get involved in policy making on Wookieepedia ever again. Sorry, I am strictly a (minor) contributor these days and am much happier in that role. Cheers, SentryTalk 00:53, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Why Not there is no official policy on adding (First appearance) templates and i was told on the IRC by Gonk, the4dotopilis and others that you do put it on the whole thing is confusing Dark Lord Xander (Embrace The Dark Side!)20px 03:10, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- thanks for explaining things but i had already decided with Eyrezer not to continue to add or remove them and therefore stay out of the line of fire of people who beleive that they should be on there and those who think they shouldn't be there. once again thaks for taking the time to explain things to me i understand know Dark Lord Xander (Embrace The Dark Side!)20px 07:16, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Revan as an Author
Hey, Sentry. Do you it would be a good idea if you or I could add the fact that Revan was an author to his "Abilities" in his article? For more on this, go to Talk:Revan/Legends and look under "Revan as an Author".--Jedi Kasra 02:40, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Revan Fact Check
Would this do as a revision/prune of the section you've highlighted?
Soon thereafter, he stumbled upon the Trayus Academy, an abandoned training center built by a mysterious Sith faction known as the "True Sith". While unearthing the planet's buried secrets, Revan learned the exact location and immense significance of the planet Korriban, the homeworld of the Sith species. (PRUNING BEGINS HERE) Though further details of what transpired in that ancient Sith bastion remain unknown, Kreia would later imply that it was there that Revan discovered the continued existence of the so-called “True Sith” and, “to prevent a greater evil”, would embrace the Sith teachings himself.
Returning to the wars (PRUNING ENDS HERE) Revan forced... |
I've basically just taken a big pair of scissors to it. Removing the Star Forge stuff doesn't really hurt, since it's mentioned as something Revan's looking for further down in the section. (Ulicus 16:40, 11 November 2007 (UTC))
