  1. I'm proud to support someone who doesn't get a lot of pub for the hard work he does. Revan's one of those quiet users who goes about his own thing, making often minor, but nonetheless valuable, maintenance edits to article after article. His work is extremely solid, he shows an excellent grasp of Wookieepedia's formatting, and he has a great selfless attitude, preferring to put the Wook ahead of any personal accolades. People like Revan deserve more credit than they receive, and I believe he is deserving of this month's honors. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 00:25, November 1, 2012 (UTC)
  2. Per Tope. I see Revan in the RC quite a bit. Keep up the good work.—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 03:57, November 1, 2012 (UTC)
  3. At first I remembered Revan's contributions not being of the best quality, and even cases of him copying other people's work from other articles into articles he was editing. However, from what I've seen of his activity ever since then, he has definitely made worthwhile contributions to this site. I particularly salute the vandalism warnings he has given to troublemakers. Keep it up. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 04:09, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

  7. Flipped a coin, six heads out of nine flips. Revan gets my vote. Besides, I see him working a lot late into the night. Andy is also a good user and I don't want to take away any attention from him. Honestly, I really couldn't decide between the two, so I let a coin speak for me, and the coin said Revan. 8. I agree with Trak. I also flipped a coin, and Revan won! :) ~SavageBOB sig 14:40, November 2, 2012 (UTC)

  10. While Andykatib has indeed done a lot of work and certainly would deserve it, I'm going to vote for Revan this month since I've seen more of his work and certainly is a active and great user. 1358 (Talk) 07:35, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

  • I'm not going to oppose anyone, because that would just be mean, and I've been trying to be nicer lately. But I just cannot get over the utter hilarity of WookieeProject:Novels. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 04:17, November 1, 2012 (UTC)
  • Although I do not oppose him or most of his work, Revan always stroke me as that guy who is looking for popularity and a top place in the "hierarchy" by increasing his "edits count", not caring how he did it. I've seen him adding fake information with no fundaments, not mentioning the several {{Imageless}} templates he added without even knowing if the article really had a significant image or not. However, he's been recently, due to his Novels project, working hard in novel articles and also reverting vandalism. In my opinion, I think he deserves a Cookie, not a WOTM, at least not yet. P.S. Most of his edits before the Project Novels, were minor edits and I'm not talking about grunt work (adding hundreds of talkheaders and respective projects). Also he's very inactive in Wookieepedia sections and I think he should start showing himself more there. Winterz (talk) 12:33, November 1, 2012 (UTC)
    • To avoid any misunderstanding, please know that what I meant with "adding fake information with no fundaments" isn't the forgery of info and adding it to the article. I just meant adding unverified templates for instance, which is mostly innocent mistakes by a new member. For further explanation read here. Winterz (talk) 14:07, November 2, 2012 (UTC)

  1. Like Revan, Andy is an unsung hero of the Wook, and I wanted to recognize his hard work if even just by nominating him. For months, he's been a one-man army on a crusade to write tons of detailed, formatted, and sourced articles related to the Knight Errant comics. That work has also seen him upload a crapload of relevant images, and he additionally uses many of the new articles he creates to help keep Wookieepedia's "Did You Know" alive. Earlier efforts of his throughout the years brought similar comprehension to scores of articles from The Truce at Bakura, among other sources. His few interactions with others are very positive, but the majority of his efforts go toward writing, writing, and then writing some more. Were it not for Andy, nearly everything we have on Knight Errant would be a stub. Menkooroo (talk) 04:06, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

  4. For his great work in Knight Errant related content, he's pretty much updating all those articles (and even adding new ones), especially the additions to Kerra Holt, pretty much all alone. Unlike Revan this is a guy who doesn't care nor has time to spend on increasing his "edits count". Also, though not very active, Andy is a valuable user who's been here for many years and it's about time he receiving what he deserves! Winterz (talk) 12:24, November 1, 2012 (UTC)
  5. As I haven't had the opportunity to read anything of the Knight Errant arc myself, Andy's articles have been very useful to keep me up-to-date. --LelalMekha (talk) 12:57, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

  • Is this a tie? I've always seen a one vote difference treated as a tie. Menkooroo (talk) 00:15, December 1, 2012 (UTC)
  • Thankyou all so very much for your kind comments and support. Honestly, I did not know that I had been nominated until Menkooroo kindly informed just about half an hour ago. There's a saying that we should strive to do great things rather than striving to be great ourselves. My aim on Wookieepedia was not to strive for recognition but rather to write for both leisure and accuracy. I deliberately confined my editing on Wookieepedia to a niche area which had not been very well covered, things that had been overlooked. We must always remember that we are one community. Together, Wookieepedia is what it is because of our time and efforts.

However, it is also important I give thanks to another very important person: God (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit all in one). As a Christian, this is one Person I must give thanks for giving me the purpose and the skills to edit on Wookieepedia. The Christians among you would like to know that after every edit, I gave a prayer to thanks to the Lord. We as Christians do not have to be solely clergy or missionaries in order to serve God but we can also play an active part in secular professions while still always being Christians.

Thankyou for taking the time to correct my images or any grammatical errors. No matter how small an edit, it shows that we as a community care for each other. I willingly accept your nomination with all my heart. May the Force be with all of you whenever you edit on Wookieepedia. And have Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
