Comments

• I don't want to take anything away from what Cade's done --- he's done a great job --- but this article is still a remnant of 2008 in a few ways and could use some tightening up. Here's what I have:
  • There's no written rule about the intro, but I think that intros of OOU works should follow the basic structure of the article: Plot summary, development, continuity/legacy/reception. Currently the intro is development first.
  • On that note, the article could definitely use a "Legacy" section. A lot of what should go in it is currently in the "Continuity" section. The Layout Guide says that a Legacy section need not be included if the relevant info isn't available, but it's definitely available in this case. TOTJ's impact on the EU has been huge.
  • The Plot summary of The Freedon Nadd Uprising seems disproportionately long --- it's longer than the Plot summary of Dark Lords of the Sith, while TFNU is actually three issues shorter than DLOTS.
  • The "Characters" section needs a complete overhaul to jettison its OOU info. From the Layout Guide: "A character profile should be written in-universe and in the present tense." Tom Veitch, etc, shouldn't be introduced until the later "Conception" section.
  • Quotes could be found for the various sub-sections of "Production" from various interviews, including Wookieepedia's own Christian Gossett interview.
  • The section on the Sunrider Naming Controversy needs some cleanup. It currently speculates ("Likewise, per the agreement, it appears that Lucasfilm Ltd. was allowed continued use of their already established characters as long as the surname of "Sunrider" was not used in production") and should mine the Sunrider naming controversy GA for additional relevant details.
  • File:SuperNovaCD.jpg needs a reupload with speech bubbles intact.
  • There doesn't seem to be anything about The Old Republic. As The Sith Empire in that game is Naga Sadow's Sith Empire, etc, TOR should be discussed in as much detail as the other "References in..." sections.
  • I think that a lot of the "Reception" section should go. Referencing amazon.com reviews is fine, but I don't know about the article's habit of dedicating an entire paragraph to one review. For amazon.com reviews and Jedi Council forum posts, I feel that broad strokes should be given rather than nitty-gritty details of what certain fans said. Detailed accounts of reviews should, IMO, be saved for more reputable sources.
• I know you did a lot of work to fix the layout guide issue, Cade, but this article needs quite a bit more cleanup, and allowing it to remain an FA in its current state would be a huge disservice. Menkooroo (talk) 01:24, October 18, 2013 (UTC)
