Wookieepedia > Wookieepedia:Inquisitorius > Inq/37th Meeting
- "I didn't want to read the article. I had no intention of copyediting it—but you have given me no choice. I cannot leave the nom in the hands of fools like you."
- ―The motto of the Inq?
Okay… *tap* *tap* Is this thing on? Are you sure? *tap* Okay, good. *clears throat* Well, ladies [Redacted by administration] and gentlemen: I announce the gathering for the official 37th not-so-monthly Inq Meeting! It will be held on Saturday 13 November 2010, at 0:00—or 7:00pm for those on EST—at the Freenode Convention Center. (You all know where that is by now, I hope.) Be there, or be heptagon, or rhombus, or whatever shape Waru is.

- CT-27-5555: Same as above. Master Jonathan
(Jedi Council Chambers) 04:20, October 22, 2010 (UTC)
- 4-LOM: Could use some scrutinizing. While working on Zuckuss, I had gone through 4-LOM's article and cleaned up some prosey, err... prose. But I'm sure that there may be more to do. As to what that would be, I leave that to you. But, his prose was as bad as Zuckuss's there for a while. Trak Nar Ramble on 04:47, October 22, 2010 (UTC)

- Peppi Bow—update needed
- Apparently nothing new to add, beyond a {{Po}} template. It may be worth looking to see if this is the case with other CWA updates. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 20:30, November 4, 2010 (UTC)

(Combadge) 04:38, October 24, 2010 (UTC)

- Executor: Needs an update from Murder on the Executor. Xicer9
(Combadge) 04:38, October 24, 2010 (UTC)
- Also needs a mention in the BTS that in the section on the Second Battle of Kuat in Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption Expansion: Prima Official Game Guide, the Annihilator is mistakenly referred to as being the Executor. --144.173.5.197 23:09, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
- Antinnis Tremayne: Several issues: Missing information from Vialco's sidebar in Adventure Journal 8; the EGtD and NEGtD mention an attempt on Tremayne's life through the use of a bomb carrying mouse droid, which I can't find a reference to anywhere in the article; Two for One mentions that he wrote a book, Basic Interrogations, which is also missing from the article; the bts gives no explanation for Tremayne's cut appearance in EaW. Xicer9
(Combadge) 04:38, October 24, 2010 (UTC)
- Lutrillian: five redlinks, and the linking in general could use some cleanup. CC7567 (talk) 05:01, October 24, 2010 (UTC)

- Shadows of the Empire (soundtrack): {{Fact}} tag in "Misconceptions" section. The statement was previously sourced to Wikipedia, but I removed that reference because wikis are not reliable sources, as I'm sure we all know. :P Master Jonathan
(Jedi Council Chambers) 17:31, November 3, 2010 (UTC)
- I think that was the point. Wikipedia isn't the source for that having been misreported elsewhere but has itself incorrectly stated it so the source was correct. Green Tentacle (Talk) 22:51, November 5, 2010 (UTC)
- Regardless, it's still not valid as a source. How do you know that the statement in the Wikipedia article is an actual misconception and not simply subtle vandalism that's never been noticed; conversely, how do you know that the statement in the Wikipedia article isn't true? Unless you can point to a reliable source that contradicts it, it may in fact be a true statement that just hasn't been properly sourced. (On a side note, I have a problem with ref 15 in this regard; it says "most" of the "misconceptions" have been contradicted by RSs. That wording obviously means that at least one hasn't, which means you can't be sure that it isn't true and saying that it isn't without proof is OR.) Even if you ignore or refute all of that, literally anyone can remove that statement from the Wikipedia article tomorrow, immediately rendering it invalid as a source for our article. Wikipedia should not be used a source, ever. EDIT: After some digging, here's the edit in which that statement was added, and that IP appears to have been in use by Adamwankenobi (assuming that the Wikipedian that had that account name is the same as the Wookieepedian with that name) at the time [1] [2]; perhaps someone could ask him what his source was. Planning for the future (Coruscant Room)
- I would like to talk about our meeting structure and attendance. I know for me, life gets swamped at certain times of the year because of work and making meetings can be difficult. We should consider some ideas to make this more streamlined and efficient so that the meetings can be less needed instead of simply neglected. — Fiolli 04:06, October 22, 2010 (UTC)

Some random shape
- The out-of-town-and-likely-unable-to-access-the-internet shape. I'll leave notes. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 05:24, October 22, 2010 (UTC)
- The is-not-an-Inq shape. But I do hope Zuckuss makes the cut this time. Trak Nar Ramble on 05:25, October 22, 2010 (UTC)
- That day is going to be hectic for me. I might be able to make it, but for now I'm saying no. CC7567 (talk) 01:31, October 24, 2010 (UTC)
- Will be outdoors. --Eyrezer 02:58, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

- The getting-drunk-in-a-pub shape. Green Tentacle (Talk) 18:56, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
Notes from the deceased
- CC
- Keep: Platt Okeefe, Myhr Rho, Bevel Lemelisk, Zuckuss (went through a major rewrite and it looks good from a glance, but I admittedly haven't looked at it in detail, so this might need a little checking during the meeting), Kouhun, Slave Leia costume, Vuffi Raa (though like Zuckuss, it went through an overhaul, which could use some evaluation; some linkage could use cleanup), Diergu-Rea Duhnes'rd, Carth Onasi, Noval Garaint, Drovian
- Extend probe: Halagad Ventor (required update brought to light but not included in original to-do list)
- Kill: XJ-6 airspeeder
- Probe: Rokko, CT-21-0408, CT-27-5555, 4-LOM (though it would be best if the need for a copy-edit can be double-checked), 501st Legion, Battle of Christophsis, Battle of the Kaliida Nebula, CC-1004, CC-5052, Cad Bane, Cham Syndulla, Cut Lawquane, Ganch, Gha Nachkt, Gotal, Mar Tuuk, Nym, Peppi Bow, Second Battle of Geonosis, Sky Battle of Quell, Wat Tambor, Whorm Loathsom, Evir Derricote, 181st Imperial Fighter Wing, Antinnis Tremayne, Lutrillian, Shadows of the Empire (soundtrack), Wes Janson
- Yes, yes, I will get on those Clone Wars Adventures updates as soon as I can; I haven't really had the time lately.
- Spare: Battle of Saleucami, Jaina Solo, Wampa (as long as there isn't an issue I'm not aware of), Executor (not quite sure whether updates are done, but I defer to Toprawa), 8t88
- I'd like to make another apology for my dwindling activity on the FAN page; personal obligations have been taking up almost all of my time, and the little time I've had lately I've had to put into upkeeping my current FAs—hopefully that's understandable, but I'll be back up reviewing regularly once all of this turmoil is over. CC7567 (talk) 08:45, November 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Eyrezer's votes
- Keep: Myhr Rho, Bevel Lemelisk, Kouhun, Slave Leia costume, Vuffi Raa, Diergu-Rea Duhnes'rd, Carth Onasi, Noval Garaint.
- Abstain: Platt Okeefe and Drovian are mine, so I won't vote on them.
- Extend probe: Halagad Ventor per CC. XJ-6 airspeeder - why? Because I would like a bit more clarity on what the missing sources are. I'm happy to do a structural copy-edit after this Inq meet, but more clarity on the sources issue would be useful. Zuckuss - at the moment it is too unclear from the Review page whether all the problems identified by Xicer have been addressed.
- Probe: Rokko, CT-21-0408, CT-27-5555, Executor, Antannis Tremayne, Gotal, 501st Legion, Nym, Wes Janson
- Don't probe: Jaina Solo - no indication of update needed. --Eyrezer 02:58, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
- Jujiggum
- I'm going to be on the road, and I just don't have enough time to look through all of the articles and give an honest opinion on them before the meeting, so I would like to (I'm assuming we still do this; if not, then just ignore me :P) lend my vote to Chack. Also, apologies for my recent inactivity on the FAN, between travels and school work I haven't had much time lately, but that should hopefully change relatively soon. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 16:21, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
- Green Tentacle
- Keep: Platt Okeefe, Myhr Rho, Bevel Lemelisk, Zuckuss, Kouhun, Slave Leia costume
- Extend probe: Halagad Ventor per CC
- Kill: XJ-6 airspeeder (though more info on what sources wouldn't go amiss)
- And I really have to go, so that's all. Green Tentacle (Talk) 18:56, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
Post-meeting redux
- Hey everyone, just due to time constraints and other priorities right now in life, I think I'll be resigning from the Inq. I really haven't had time to contribute much at all in the past months, and it's a bit of a disservice to others for me to hold this spot when someone else could probably fill the position much more effectively. Cheers! PS: I was planning to go to the meeting, but can't seem to get into the channel anymore :P —Xwing328(Talk) 00:11, November 14, 2010 (UTC)
